Delay in next installment

I had expected and promised to have a new entry posted by now, but I received word that a dear old friend of mine passed away last month. She was only 42. As a result, it has been extremely difficult for me to concentrate on my writing commitments.
Until I gather my thoughts, I would urge everyone to pick up the new issue of Shindig magazine (pictured below) featuring Gene on the cover. It is a fantastic publication which is committed to covering artists who are usually overlooked by mainstream music magazines.

In Memoriam: Caroline Margaret Gower (Scarfe), July 8, 1966 - March 11, 2009

And what if someday in God's garden high,
on solitary walks, I should you espy?
I shall love you then, as I did on earth
Dwelling in the peace of everlasting birth.

Thank you for taking the time to leave me a message, Sha.
Everything has seemed so surreal since I found out about her death.

Your support during this sad time, as well as your continuing support of my blog, is greatly appreciated.

I too am very sorry to hear of your loss. A friend of mine has just died after a short illness at a too young age and it is hard to comprehend why.

Take care

Thank you, Justin.

I'm going to try to have a new entry up on or about May 24th, the 18th anniversary of Gene's death.
I'm really sorry to hear about your loss Tom. I know that I speak for everybody that are following you here. Put on "Hear The Wind", sit back and take your time. Time heals. Then put on "Carry On", and you will come back even stronger than before.

Take care,

Thank you very much. I appreciate your concern.

Lately I've had a hard time sitting down to write, but I hope to have a new blog entry in the next week or so.
